Aquatic Therapy 

Aquatic Therapy is an individualized treatment that utilizes the buoyant characteristics of water for functional improvement. Immersing the patient in water allows earlier therapeutic intervention by reducing weight bearing from 10 to 80%! Water is the best environment to undergo initial therapy because it helps to reduce inflammation and decrease pressure on the injured area.

The Fit N’ Wise Aquatic Therapy program offers a specially designed 750 square foot therapy pool that contains 88 to 92 degree water, a Badu Jet Supersport for training against resistance, a massage hose with pulsator, handicap access via aqua wheelchair, a sitting area with spa jets and underwater parallel bars. There is also a 25 meter lap pool for endurance training. Some therapeutic benefits of Aquatic Therapy are:
