Land Classes
- Spin: Cycling
to music. This is an interval class designed to simulate riding through
hills, valleys, and flat lands. It is suggested that this class be
taken 1-2 times per week as a cross training tool for your steady
state workouts.
- Kickboxing: A
workout that combines aerobics, cardiovascular endurance and body
toning for an over-all challenging workout. Enjoy basic Martial Arts
techniques of kicking and punching for an energetic workout set to
music.
- Step: This class
uses a Reebok Step and riser to create a challenging routine of stepping
up and down on a bench. You'll be amazed how challenging and rewarding
this class can be!
- Toning and Flexibility:
This 30 minute class focuses on floor exercises and stretching to
increase muscle tone and flexibility. This is a great class for people
of all ages.
- Quick Circuit:
A time efficient way to achieve a total body workout.
- Triathlon Training: An
intense all around advanced workout for serious training (cycling,
swimming, running, etc.)
Water Classes -
No Lifeguards on Duty!
- AquaLite: A medium
impact class which combines shallow and deep water moves.
- Power Waves:
A medium intensity class for those members wishing to water walk (shallow)
and jog (deep). Class will use water dumb bells, paddles and noodles
for a total body workout.
- Off the Deep
End: This is a medium to high intensity deep water aerobics class
for those wishing to experience a more challenging workout. Swim belts
are provided.
- Aqua Awakening:
Wake up and Workout! A variety of medium to high intensity deep and
shallow water exercises as well as circuit interval training.
- Wave Walking:
This is a low intensity, shallow water motions class for those looking
to make some first time waves! This class is conducted in the therapy
(warm water) pool at night so it is perfect for those with "special
needs", such as sufferers of fibromyalgia, arthritis or post-rehab
patients.
- Family Swim:
Available to Family Members only. Therapy Pool is closed for this
class. Parent must remain with children in the pool area.
