Laboratory Services

 

The laboratory at Wise Regional Health System utilizes a state of the art information system for storing and tracking patient test results. The Laboratory offers a menu of over 90 tests performed at this facility. The lab is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Our experienced tech staff has a total of 219 years of combined experience in the laboratory field. The lab is JCAHO accredited and inspected every two years.

Twice annually, our lab participates in the Wise Regional Health System health fairs, providing free screens including tests for glucose, blood urea nitrogen, creatinine, sodium, potassium, CO2, chloride, cholesterol and triglyceride.
