I have a special love for children in foster homes, adopted children and children with special healthcare needs. Children should be treated as unique individuals, not small adults."

MY COMMITMENT TO THE PATIENT:
I want to provide comprehensive care which involves treating the whole person. This involves education about healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care. Every year I spend time teaching medical students and being a student myself to stay current with the latest research and practice guidelines

B.S. Biology, Oklahoma Baptist University
Doctor of Medicine, University of Oklahoma
Pediatric Residency, Scott and White Hospital System in association with Texas A&M Medical School
Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics

SERVICES OFFERED:
Sick and well child care from birth to 18 years of age
Prenatal consultations
Nurse triage service during regular business hours
After hours answering service with one of our pediatricians available for urgent concerns or questions
Hospital care at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur

For patients who require a higher level of care than is available locally, I refer to Cook Childrens Medical Center.

THINGS I ENJOY ABOUT PATIENT CARE:
I think I have the best job in the world because I get to give and receive hugs from my patients. It is fun to watch children grow and learn. I never cease to be amazed at what children will remember from one visit to the next. I enjoy teaching and talking with parents about their child’s development.
