Work Related Injuries

Injuries that occur in the work place comprise a significant amount of all injuries and cost companies millions of dollars in medical expense and lost productivity. At FIT-N-WISE, work related injuries are treated with care by our licensed Physical and Occupational Therapists. The therapists strive to return the injured employee to full function and work as soon as possible. They utilize information gathered from an evaluation as well as information gathered from testing to formulate a plan of care for the worker. The plan may include the use of our BTE (Baltimore Therapeutic Equipment) which is designed to simulate a multitude of functional motions and activities. The plan may additionally include the use of modalities (hot packs, ultrasound, electrical stimulation) and/or exercise.
