AquaticsWise Kids Aquatics Swim School registration form Wise Kids Aquatics Swim School fall-winter schedule Fit N Wise Aquatic Open LanesOpen Lanes – Designated times for adult members to come in and use the community pool for lap walking or lap swimming. Open Lane times are subject to change with little or no notice in the event of special activities. If the schedule does not state OPEN LANES then members should arrange their schedule to come in when lanes are available. Youth or children under the age of 15 are not allowed in the fitness center or the pool except during family swim hours.Note: There are many times when lanes must be shared, please use swimmer*s etiquette. The first person in the lane has priority. When entering a lane with only one swimmer, the arriving swimmer should notify the first swimmer of his/her presence before starting to swim, and explicitly agree with him/her on which format to use (circle or split). Specialty ClassesAqua Awakening - Wake up and Workout!! A (medium to high intensity) Shallow and/or Deep water class to get your day going from the start!! Designed for participants who are experienced in water exercise. This loud and fast paced class is not for beginners or first time water exercisers. T & TH 5:45AM-6:30AM Aqua Circuit Challenge - Step up your water workout with this shallow water workout that combines cardio intervals with strength training. (Begins Sept. 9) Wed 9:00AM-9:45AM Aqua Lite – This medium to high intensity shallow water class combines the latest moves and stretches for a great “feel good” workout. Great class for beginners or first time water exercisers as well as those more experienced. Everyone will “feel good”! AquaMOTION - This mind/body water fitness class is an “instant vacation” from daily stress. Combining yoga, Pilates and tai-chi moves, it will strengthen the core, train the parasympathetic nervous system and leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. (6 week trial – beginning Sept. 9) Wed 8:15AM-9:45AM Hydro Moves – For those wishing to experience a more challenging workout, this deep water class is a medium to high intensity class. Participants will work with buoyancy belts, cuffs, noodles and hand buoys. Swimming skills are not HydroYolates: A warm water therapy pool class designed to improve flexibility and strengthen core muscles. This class will combine Yoga and Pilates moves in the water to improve core stability and increase range of motion. Into the Deep - Use the dynamics of deep water for an excellent cardiovascular workout. A variety of equipment and class formats will be used, so that you can really push yourself. This is a medium to high intensity, non-impact. Swimming skills are not necessary; however participants should be comfortable in deep water. Mon 5:30PM-6:15PM Off the Deep End – For those wishing to experience a more challenging workout, this deep water is a medium to high intensity class. Work with buoyancy belts, cuffs, noodles and hand buoys. Swimming skills are not necessary, however should be comfortable in deep water. A non-impact workout M & F 10:00AM-10:45AM Water DYNAMICS – Please come join us for a loud and high intensity class for those wanting a total body workout. that combines vigorous cardiovascular exercise with muscle toning and stretching. This class is not intended for beginners, but for those wanting an extreme intensive workout. Join Kim or Linda for a fast paced and loud class. M & W 9:00AM-9:45AM Water Walk - A low intensity, shallow water motions class, for those looking to make some first time waves! Excellent for beginners, individuals with special needs or those not comfortable in water. T & TH 8:30AM-9:00AM Wise Kids Aquatics Swim SchoolWise Kids Aquatics Swim School offers American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety Programs. American Red Cross has been the leader in aquatic education for people of all ages and abilities since 1914. While the Red Cross Swimming Program offers 4 levels of completion, Wise Kids Aquatics Swim School offers: Fit N Wise Swim TeamQUEST Aquatics is our USA year round competitive swim team. USA swimming is the primary source of producing this nations great swimmers. QA welcomes swimmers who have skills in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly and are at least 7 years old. Evaluations are made prior to team acceptance. QA is structured to enable individuals to accomplish their individual goals within a team environment. Tryouts are held the first and third Tuesday of every month from 6:30pm-7:00pm. Family FUN SwimFamily Swim – Members and all those under a Family Membership is free. Guests with a member $2.00 per person. Non members $6.00 each. The therapy pool is NOT available. The first two shallow lanes are reserved for family swim and water walkers. Parent must remain with children IN POOL AREA at all times. Pool equipment may not be taken from equipment room or therapy area. Items are available for use in the white “Community Chest”. Parents shall maintain order and discipline making sure ALL rules are being followed. Please return equipment to the chest before leaving the pool. Children not potty trained MUST wear an approved reusable swim diaper. Disposable diapers are not allowed. Diapers are available to purchase at the front desk.
