The Food & Nutrition Services Department at Wise Regional Health System provides an innovative approach to patient dining called TRULY TEXAS ROOM SERVICE. When a patient is admitted and a physician-prescribed diet order has been sent to the Food & Nutrition Services Department, a Room Service Ambassador will visit the patient and present a TRULY TEXAS menu and explain how to order meals and snacks…

“What you want… When you want it.”

Meals can be ordered any time between the hours of 6:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m., allowing patients to choose their own time for meals. Meals are cooked to order and delivered to the patient’s room by a Room Service Ambassador within 45 minutes of the call.

The following patient menus are available for Regular and Therapeutic Diets.

  • Clear, Full Liquid, and Medical Soft
  • Bariatric Clear, Full Liquid & Pureed

Our on-staff Registered Dietitian is available to help patients answer any questions about the guidelines of a physician prescribed diet.
