The Intensive Care Unit at Wise Regional Health System provides intensive, specialized care for critically ill/injured patients.
Wise Regional is equipped with the most advanced monitoring equipment to provide continuing specialized care until the patient is stable enough to be moved to a unit with a less intense level of care.
Wise Regional’s ICU:
- Has nurses who are cross-trained to work ER and CCU
- Has a staff with combined 181 years experience
- Has a neurologist and pulmonologist on staff, meaning patients don’t have to be transported to another facility for these services
- Has an iSirona monitoring system which electronically sends cardiac patient data directly to computer charting
