Fit-N-Wise Aquatics
Aquatic fitness is an excellent form of total-body exercise for just about anyone. Water buoyancy creates an impact-free alternative to land exercise that is easier and less stressful on the joints. It allows for variations in the intensity of a workout making it appealing to members of all abilities. During a water workout you get the benefit of strength and cardio training all in one workout. Fit-N-Wise offers a wide variety of classes, including:
- Aquatic Exercise Classes
- Wise Kids Aquatics Starfish Swimming®
- Infant Aquatics
- Private Swimming lessons
- Swim Team
- Family Swim

Wise Kids Aquatics Starfish Swimming
The Starfish Swimming program is a total curriculum based on core competencies that are ideal for any teaching situation. It is an effective swimming instruction system for all ages and abilities, from infant through swim team. These programs include:
-
StarBabies™
(Parent/Caregiver with child ages 6 months – 36 months)
The purpose of this course is to develop in very young children a high comfort level in the water while at the same time training parents in water safety and drowning prevention. This course does not teach children to become accomplished swimmers or survive in the water; it does provide a confidence building, fun, loving experience. One parent or caregiver must be in the water with each child. Swim Diapers required. -
Starfish Swim School

Students work toward development of the five core swimming competencies and receive color level patches for each achievement. The color levels are used to divide students into broad ability groups.
